Overview

Personal website as showcase of featured music events. Used also as tools to keep updated the fans via the Events section, NightGallery (Coppermine Photo Gallery integration and theming), Playlist (songs top list). As plus a Message board section (hand-coded in PHP and MySQL) to check the fan opinions. The CiccoRe DeeJay Club was a custom built section in PHP to allow deejays from anywhere to subscribe, built as mini-community with messages.

Tech Stack

I developed the entire back-end from scratch in vanilla PHP, without any framework. The more complex piece was that I provided the client also an “admin panel” to maintain the content, and I built that as well from scratch. With simple forms sending all to a MySQL database.

Admin panel implemented in PHP from scratch (no frameworks):

Challenges

This was a single person project that I took as freelance work. I’ve been the visual designer, front-end developer and back-end developer. I designed the site using Photoshop, not major vector applications were around at that time.

I did also the development of Flash components.
