Briefly about me...

Intro

Hi, I'm Francesco — a Senior Web Developer and Technical Architect. My expertise is in web applications, interactive digital products, and large website redesigns. I have a wide range of working experiences from freelance to full-time, from small to large teams, from supporting to leading teams, from onsite to remote work.

Problems are opportunities

Over the last two decades, I worked on many advertising agency projects and accounts that offered me the opportunity to work on a large variety of complex products and work with many talented people, from concept to product delivery.

During my web development career, I've been also side-tracked, for the good, by my passion for computer graphics. This passion carried me to attend professional training in CG & 3D. A training where I learned: 3D modeling/rigging/animation, visual effects, compositing and editing, photography, and much more. This program was focused to prepare us to work within a 3D feature film pipeline on a working environment setup.

And... I love writing code. It challenges so many aspects of the intellect: creativity, problem-solving, focus, organization. This love, combined with all those exciting 3D disciplines I trained for, gravitated my focus on Front End development and interactive UIs.

With the years and experience, my hunger for more complex things grow, and that's when I focalized on architecting web applications. Considering I started my web development career in 2005 with a lot of freelance work. At this early stage, I was creating large websites from start to finish. I covered the role of a UX designer, Visual Designer (Illustrator and Photoshop), Front End Developer, Back End Developer (PHP), Flash Developer, SEO Analyst. All this cross-discipline work I did, helped consolidate my pursuit for web application architecture.
